Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Endoscopy RN for a 13-week assignment in Smyrna, Tennessee. The travel RN will work 40 hours per week on days, 8-hour shifts, in an Endoscopy unit, supporting physicians and patients before, during, and after procedures.

The candidate should have 1-2 years of acute care experience, BLS, and Endoscopy proficiency. This is a travel role with responsibilities including equipment decontamination and maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy Unit and support physicians and the medical team during procedures.
• Assist during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures with safe working practices.
• Participate in decontamination and maintenance of endoscopes and equipment with proper traceability.
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment in accordance with standards.
