MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois. The position requires Endoscopy specialty and RN discipline, with a 13-week duration, 40 hours per week, and day shifts.

Required are an Active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS and ACLS, plus 18 months of recent Acute Care Endoscopy experience. Benefits include weekly pay, housing or housing allowance, health and life insurance, and travel reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic, psychobiologic and cognitive needs of patient/family.
• Provides technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice.
• Maintains contact with patients and relatives, ensuring courtesy, dignity and privacy.
• Stores, checks and administers medication per established standards.
• Maintains timely and accurate nursing records and safeguards confidentiality.
• Works with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admission and recovery of patients.
