American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a night shift assignment in Keene, New Hampshire. This 13-week travel position requires telemetry skills and trauma experience, with a 48-hour work week on 12-hour nights.

You’ll work in a 39-bed facility with 4:1 or 5:1 ratios, administer Cardizem and Amiodarone, and rotate weekends and holidays. A NH or Compact RN license and BLS are required, and first-time travelers are considered.

Qualifications

• Active NH or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1.5 years Med/Surg experience.
• Recent Level 1 trauma or comparable trauma experience within the last 2 years.
• Telemetry experience and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for mixed-acuity Med/Surg and stepdown patients.
• RN patient ratios are 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity.
• Administer Cardizem and Amiodarone.
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 39-bed, mixed-acuity facility with medical, surgical, and stepdown patients
• Patient population is primarily elderly but includes adults as young as 18
• RN patient ratios are 4:1 or 5:1 depending on acuity
• Requires experience with administration of Cardizem and Amiodarone
• 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotations are required
• Role includes providing care for mixed-acuity Med/Surg and stepdown patients
• Care responsibilities include telemetry monitoring and specialized cardiovascular medication administration
• Must be able to work rotating holidays and every other weekend
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or Compact RN license required (proof of state residency needed)
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Med/Surg experience in a similar setting required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Experience with telemetry required
• BLS certification required
• Experience administering Cardizem and Amiodarone required
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 75 miles from facility
