Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing acute emergency care in a high-volume observation unit, primarily covering ER hold patients. The role requires flexibility to float between nearby facilities and to work night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid license in the state, at least 1 year of ER experience, and certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Responsibilities: Travelers will cover Observation Unit which is ER Hold patients. Must work 3 out of 6 weekends and commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• Preferred Qualifications: TNCC certification preferred but can be obtained prior to start if willing to get TNCC beforehand.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidate must respond to whether they have previously worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem, including location and dates worked. Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required prior to start.
