Job Details: Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per weekRequired Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, at least 2 years of ER experience, California licensure validated through Nursys within the last 2 weeks, certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) with valid expiration datesPreferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience with community hospital emergency departments, familiarity with emergency medical charting systemsFloat: Float rotation may be requiredAdditional Information: Candidates must complete required labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and provide a 7-year work history verification. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date. Modules are non-billable, with an average of 1-5 hours spent on e-learning during orientation. Only one holiday per contract can be requested, with specific holidays designated.
