Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Gilbert, Arizona. The ER nurse will provide comprehensive and timely care in a fast-paced emergency setting, performing assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in line with standards.

Requires RN license, BLS, and ER/acute care experience; 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour nights.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in practicing state or compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital or ER environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge planning needs.
• Review patient history, diagnostics and lab data; report abnormal results to physicians.
• Formulate patient-centered plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate activities and document care.
