This role involves providing emergency patient care in a critical access hospital that handles a wide variety of illnesses and injuries, including traumas related to nearby highway accidents and elderly ailments. The position requires floating from medical-surgical units to the emergency department as needed, ensuring versatile clinical support.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Previous Emergency Room (ER) experience preferred; candidates must have at least 1-2 years of ER experience for consideration.
• Variability in diagnoses includes trauma, elderly care, and other critical conditions.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) using CPSI is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior ER experience of 2 or more years is preferred.
