Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a position located in Guttenberg, Iowa. Minimum Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 2 years of previous travel experience, 2 years of clinical experience, 1 year minimum in emergency department care.

Float: Float rotation may not be required.
Orientation: 2-3 days.

Responsibilities

Start IVs, perform venipuncture, conduct EKGs, manage sheaths.
Operate ICU medical intravenous pumps, Nihon Kohden bedside monitors, Novastat glucometer, Airvo, and Bipap units.
Administer clinical protocols, including drips and infusions, O2 initiation and weaning, Bipap support, and standard nursing skills related to sepsis, stroke, myocardial infarction, and trauma.
Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 max, typically 1:3–4.
