Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nursing professionals are sought for a short-term assignment at a critical access facility located in the Portland area. This role involves working in a fast-paced, acute care setting, providing direct patient care across all ages with a focus on trauma and emergency interventions. The position offers an opportunity to enhance critical care skills within a well-supported interdisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Location: Portland, OR area
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• End Date: 01/11/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 2 years of emergency room experience, ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications, and experience with Epic charting system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center, experience with blood product administration, central line management, and pediatric emergency care.
• Float: Float to meet unit needs, potentially to sister facilities located within the region.
• Additional Information: This role entails working variable shifts primarily from 1900-0730 and possibly filling shifts from 1500-0330. Candidates should be prepared to work every other weekend and be flexible with holiday schedules. All candidates must have reliable transportation and be prepared to float to other units or facilities as needed. The assignment includes required module completion prior to start, with sessions recorded in Workramp.
