Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Los Angeles, CA This ER position involves providing high-quality trauma and emergency care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The role requires delivering compassionate patient care within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, utilizing advanced clinical skills and a collaborative approach to improve patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (preferred), PALS, TNCC (preferred); BSN required; CA license required; EPIC EMR experience must be demonstrated
• Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Location Requirements: Must hold a valid CA RN license
• Years of Experience: 2 years of ER experience preferred, minimum 0 years required
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Qualifications: Comfortable with Pediatric patients, previous charge nurse experience preferred, trauma and adult/pediatric emergency department experience strongly preferred, teaching facility experience preferred
• Responsibilities include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, central line care, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, arterial blood gases interpretation, ventilated patient care, and adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must have RTO (return to operation) specified at initial submission and cannot have RTO added after profile submission
