Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for the Emergency Department in Asheville, North Carolina. This travel assignment requires an active NC or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ER nursing experience.

The position features day shifts (6:45 AM–7:15 PM), a 26-week duration, and a 36-hour work week with a tax-free stipend and travel/licensure reimbursements. Pay is $1,874 per week, with benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance from day one, a 401(k) match, and per diem

Qualifications

• Active NC or compact RN license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, unexpired for at least 30 days after start.
• CPI certification required (SAMA, MAB, ACPMA may be accepted).
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Care Center within a hospital setting.
• Day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
• 26-week contract assignment.
• Care for emergency patients with varying acuity.
• Provide care to diverse patient populations with urgent needs.
• Fast-paced environment requiring rapid decision-making and multitasking.
