TalentBurst is seeking a Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Gadson, AL for a 13-week contract with night shifts (7p-7a). The role requires 1–2 years ED experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and Alabama licensure. CERner experience is preferred.

Expect travel stipends and base pay with weekly compensation; on-site assignment with a 13-week duration. Travel nurses play a critical role in delivering emergency care, applying nursing processes, and leading teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
