Job Summary
Electrophysiology (EP) Technician - Days This position is based in the specialty area of Electrophysiology within a healthcare facility. The role involves supporting complex cardiac procedures, including arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, pacemaker insertion, and other electrophysiology lab procedures. It is ideal for professionals with at least one year of experience in a related setting, seeking to contribute to a dynamic cardiac care team.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, and ARRT (Radiologic Technology) or CCI RCIS certifications; bachelors level education or equivalent; minimum of 1-year experience in a catheterization or electrophysiology lab; valid license in good standing in the applicable scope of practice; experience with Epic charting system and adult patient care; proven competency in accurate monitoring, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, device management, vascular access, and other electrophysiology procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience and experience in a Level I trauma setting are advantageous.
• Additional Information: The role includes tasks such as equipment setup, hemodynamic monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, responding to emergency events, and collaborative involvement with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, and pharmacy services. New team members will receive orientation and training onsite.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have a valid OK or Compact registered nurse license (RN) or applicable allied health license in hand at the time of submission.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
