MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week assignment in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role supports the EP team in imaging-guided procedures, patient care, and documentation, with a 36-hour workweek and a 9-hour daytime shift.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient care in the electrophysiology lab as part of the EP team.
• Use imaging equipment to help doctors detect and treat heart issues.
• Review patient history and verify medical orders.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure coverage of requested areas.
• Communicate results to the physician and document findings.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in EP labs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver professional, cost-effective patient care and maintain patient-focused environment.
