Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Travel Electrophysiology Technician for a hospital contract in Baltimore, Maryland. The role requires EP lab expertise, interventional cath lab experience, and certification in ACLS/BLS, with a 14-week assignment and a 40-hour workweek.

The position involves operating EP mapping and fluoroscopy equipment, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting ablations and pacemaker/ICD procedures.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS are required.
• CCI-RCIS is required.
• EP Lab experience, 3 years in Electrophysiology Tech, and interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience are required.
• Scrub experience is required.
• Experience with EP mapping systems, cardiac ablation procedures, cardiac devices, hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, pacemakers/ICD insertion and programming, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, left atrial appendage closure, and Watchman experience.
• Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias and rapid response capability.
• Sterile technique proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with arrhythmia ablations including AFib and SVT procedures.
• Support cardiac device procedures such as permanent pacemakers and ICDs.
• Operate EP mapping systems and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and sterile field during procedures.
• Recognize life‑threatening arrhythmias and respond accordingly.
