TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Electrophysiology Lab in Independence, Missouri. The EP Lab RN will assist physicians, monitor equipment, and participate in ablations and device implants during a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week and 10-hour days.

The ideal candidate has EP Lab experience, an active RN license, and current ACLS/BLS certifications. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment on a travel basis.

We're looking for Registered Nurses (RN) for an immediate travel opening in Independence, MO for our Electrophysiology(EP) Lab.The right RN should have at least 1 year of experience in an EP Lab setting. Read below for more details.As an EP Lab RN, you'll work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in the EP lab providing assistanceto the physician, including maintaining and monitoring of equipment, as well as assisting with therapeutic anddiagnostic procedures.As an EP Lab Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:Learn complex technologies effectivelyAssist physicians with procedures that diagnose and treat heart rhythm problemsAssist with ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, cardioversions, loop recorder implants andmoreAssist with diagnostic studies such as cardiac mapping and EP studiesEP Lab Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoopwithout difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of upto 50 pounds at times. Because of the fast-paced environment, EP Lab Travel Nurses must possess good skills forcoping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
