Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Electrophysiology Lab for Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The assignment covers EP lab duties and cardiac care as a travel RN with 13 weeks duration.

Shift is 9 hours, 36 hours per week, with 4x9 hour shifts starting at 0700. BLS and ACLS are mandatory. Local radius rule applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months current Electrophysiology experience.
• Experience with cardiac ablation, CRM, and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO).
• Ability to manage anticoagulation and isoproterenol drips.
• Proficient in EPIC CUPID EMR systems.
• Scrub experience highly preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Electrophysiology Lab (EP)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Electrophysiology to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess clinical expertise in electrophysiology procedures and cardiac care.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x9 hour shifts starting at 0700
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week
• No on-call or weekend shifts required

Holiday Requirements

Candidates may be required to work 1-2 of the upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 24 months of current experience in Electrophysiology.
• Experience with cardiac ablation, cardiac rhythm management (CRM), and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO).
• Ability to manage anticoagulation and isoproterenol drips.
• Proficient in using EPIC CUPID electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Scrub experience is highly preferred.

Mandatory Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Additional Information

• Local Radius Rule: Candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Former employees not permitted to work travel roles in other markets if separated within the last 12 months unless specific conditions are met.

Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
