Job summary

Parsons is seeking a traveling field technician to support FAA CIP modernization across the Central Service area. This role requires installing FENS racks, providing power and grounding, and coordinating with FAA staff; all travel expenses are paid and full benefits are offered.

You will work in varied weather, lift heavy components, and travel up to 100%; experience with fiber optics, RF systems, and electrical installations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic systems for field install
• Ability to travel up to 100% within the Central Service Area and lift 50 pounds
• Background check by federal authorities will be performed

Responsibilities

• Support site preparation for contractor installation of FENS racks and power circuits
• Install cables, trays, and conduits for racks and cables
• Provide fiber paths and LTE antenna installation support
• Draft as-built documents from redlines and assist with testing
• Travel across FAA regions to support installation and testing
