Knight Electric, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electrician / Field Specialist for commercial service, maintenance and small-project installations across the Southeast U.S. Travel is provided, including housing and per diem. A valid Journeyman license and OSHA 10 are required, with 2+ years in commercial service.

The role emphasizes diagnostics, NEC-driven work, and the ability to lead small crews in occupied buildings. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Journeyman electrical license or higher.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to pass criminal and motor vehicle background checks.
• 2+ years in a commercial service role.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in active, occupied buildings.
• Lead small projects with 1–4 electricians.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Perform NEC calculations and install raceways, boxes, panels and transformers.
• Install lighting, devices and conductors; wire pulling and switchboard work.
• Work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Ensure safety and quality in all field activities.
