Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This 13-week contract features a night shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) with a 36‑hour work week and mandatory ED experience.

Candidates must hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC, with ENPC preferred. The role includes floating to other units as needed and opportunities to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with emergency department experience required for this specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients and identifying urgent or life‑threatening conditions.
• Performing triage, monitoring patient conditions, and prioritizing care based on acuity.
• Administering medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Responding to medical emergencies and supporting resuscitation efforts.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
