Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Providence, Rhode Island. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, starting 10/12/2026.

This travel role requires an active RN license and a degree from an accredited nursing program, with ER experience and applicable certifications as needed. Benefits include housing options, health coverage, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize patients with trauma or illness requiring emergency attention.
• Prioritize injuries based on medical need and triage procedures.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients' physical and mental health conditions.
• Provide care for patients from various conditions in a high-stakes ER setting.
