Job summary

GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the ED in Lawton, Oklahoma. The position supports a 36-bed Emergency Department serving about 59,000 patients annually, with a 13-week assignment and a 36-hour workweek, including night shifts.

As part of a fast-paced multidisciplinary team, you will perform rapid assessments, triage, stabilization, medication administration, and patient education while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma RN license (or compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and focused assessments of patients.
• Triage patients using evidence-based protocols to determine acuity and initiate care.
• Provide rapid intervention and stabilization for emergencies.
• Administer medications and procedures per orders.
• Operate and monitor cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and PO testing devices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare teammates.
• Coordinate patient care, including diagnostics and disposition planning.
• Document assessments and responses in the EMR.
• Participate in rapid response, trauma activations, and STEMI protocols.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
