Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Night Shift Emergency Department in Columbus, OH, specializing in ED with an oncology pod. Requires compact OH RN license and EPIC EMR experience. 13-week assignment, 3x12 hour nights, 1:4 patient ratio.

Compensation includes a weekly pay rate of $1,851 with benefits such as health insurance, a 401(k), licensure reimbursement and travel stipends. Must have active OH license and EPIC EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience required.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Prior EPIC EMR experience required.
• Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital with an oncology pod.
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:30.
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks.
• Patient ratio is 1:4.
• Floating to other units is required.
• Care for both oncology and emergency patient populations.
• Uses EPIC EMR with prior experience required.
• Involves telemetry monitoring and IV starts.
• Submission of all requested time off must be made at the time of application.
• Up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at facility discretion for the contract duration.
• Team environment with opportunity to work with both oncology and emergency care specialists.
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required according to unit needs.
• Must provide two recent professional references from a supervisor.
