Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Bethpage, New York. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks, with 48 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include triage, adult and pediatric care, and applying the nursing process in emergent settings. Current NY RN license and ER experience are preferred, with orientation and weekend coverage requirements noted.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred.
• Orientation provided; 12-hour shifts for travel assignment.
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule minimum; BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and care for adult and pediatric patients in the ED.
• Apply nursing process and deliver patient-focused care in emergent settings.
• Coordinate with preceptors and orientation sessions for onboarding.
