Job Summary

Ultrasonographer Echo, Ultra Echo. The position provides diagnostic cardiac ultrasound services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings. Responsibilities include performing routine and specialized echocardiographic studies, stress echocardiograms, bubble studies, contrast imaging, and transesophageal echocardiograms.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; valid compact state license in hand at submission; certifications in American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac SonographerAdult (RDCS-Adult), and American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsSonography (ARRT-Sonography).
• Preferred Qualifications: Preferred charting system experience; community hospital experience preferred; experience with Epic.
• Additional Information:
  • Experience with three-dimensional echocardiography, adult acute care, adult outpatient services, bubble studies, emergency department imaging, imaging with contrast agents, M-mode, pharmacologic stress echocardiography, right ventricular inflow tract and right ventricular outflow tract imaging, routine echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiograms, and treadmill stress echocardiography.
  • Typical daily census is 810 patients.
  • The position serves adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
  • Availability to work 3 of 5 designated holidays may be required.
  • Two professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required during the compliance process and before the start date.
