Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a Travel Echocardiogram Technician for a 12-week assignment in Shreveport, LA. The role involves performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, collaborating with cardiologists, and maintaining accurate study documentation.

Requirements include graduate from an accredited program, 1–3 years echocardiography experience, and BLS. Licensure options include AE RDCS, RCS, or VS, with neonatal echocardiography experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited echocardiogram, cardiovascular sonography, or equivalent program.
• 1–3 years of echocardiography experience preferred.
• Licenses: AE RDCS (ARDMS), RCS (CCI), or VS (ARRT).
• BLS required.
• Candidates must have neonatal/neonatology echocardiography experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and other cardiac ultrasound procedures per orders.
• Maintains proper documentation and labeling of studies per standards.
• Works independently on assignments with guidance.
• Escalates complex cases to senior staff as needed.
• Adheres to protocols and regulatory standards (IAC, ASE).
• Interacts with internal staff and patients in a service-oriented manner.
