Job summary

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking an Echocardiography Technician (Echo) in McAllen, TX to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and deliver high-quality imaging to support patient care. The position involves performing about 8–10 echocardiograms per day and requires attention to detail and patient comfort.

This is a 13-week travel/contract assignment with Monday–Friday hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and occasional Saturdays, with pay details provided in the posting.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS credential preferred/required.
• Formal echocardiography training from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and echocardiographic techniques.
• Ability to perform echocardiograms independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive echocardiographic examinations according to established protocols.
• Obtain high-quality imaging and Doppler measurements for interpretation by physicians.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and cooperation throughout the examination.
• Accurately document patient information, exam findings, and required measurements.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
