Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a qualified Echocardiographer for a 13-week travel assignment at a critical-access hospital in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. The role requires RDCS or RCS certification, BLS, and 3+ years of echocardiography experience.

You will perform transthoracic studies across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and surgical patients. Schedule is four 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with midweek start and orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of echocardiography experience required.
• RDCS certification through ARDMS or RCS certification through CCI required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Prior travel assignment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography studies for inpatient, outpatient, ED, and surgical patients.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images and measurements for cardiologist interpretation.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses across clinical settings.
• Travelers will start midweek with orientation and 36 guaranteed hours on a 48-hour contract.
