Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) specialized in Echo and Vascular for a 13-week assignment in Grand Junction, Colorado. You will perform ultrasound scans, prep patients, and analyze images as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, at least one year of experience, and current BLS; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI preferred. Travel with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient to ensure accurate imaging and prioritize comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and functionality.
• Apply technical expertise and critical thinking to perform procedures effectively.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
