Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Provide preliminary interpretation of the echo studies.
• Maintain and record echo study data and results.
• Assist physicians with training of residents and fellows.
• Know multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read and follow physicians orders and written instructions.
