Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The role offers 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts, and requires completion of accredited cardiac technology and cardiac ultrasound programs.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, and other physicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read and follow physicians orders, policies, procedures, or written/verbal instructions.
