Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Mishawaka, Indiana. The role requires completing accredited cardiac technology and ultrasound training, with focus on 2D echoes, Doppler, and M-mode studies.

You will work 40 hours per week, on days, under supervision in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab, providing preliminary interpretations and maintaining echo records. Benefits include housing options, health insurance, and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform all 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain patient records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
