Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a contract in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The assignment features a 40-hour work week, 10-hour daytime shifts, and a 13-week duration.

Position requires accredited coursework in cardiac technology and ultrasound, with interpretation responsibilities and experience in echocardiography. Travel staffing through a Joint Commission-certified agency. Benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program).

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of supervising physicians, prepares patient for examination, performs all 2‑dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records of echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Ability to read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians' orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
