Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Ultrasonographer will perform diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients, using 2D, M-mode and Doppler techniques with attention to image quality and documentation.

You will collaborate with cardiologists and hospital staff to ensure accurate reporting, patient safety, scheduling, and smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and related allied health education.
• ARDMS/CCI registered or registry eligible.
• State NM Echo Sonographer License is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• 2+ years actively performing echocardiograms.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients.
• Coordinate scheduling, patient transport, and billing accuracy.
• Prepare and measure M-modes; communicate results to cardiologists.
• Deliver and distribute dictations; maintain patient records.
• Respond to patient needs during exams and monitor conditions.
• Maintain supplies, equipment QC, and participate in PI activities.
• Share on-call coverage for emergency exams after hours.
