Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bay City, Michigan. You will work 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts in a travel staffing model.

The role requires completion of accredited cardiac technology and echocardiography programs, with interpretation responsibilities and exposure to multiple echo platforms. Travel benefits and housing support are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records for echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians orders, policies, procedures, or instructions.
