MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wichita Falls, Texas. The role is 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts, serving in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab to perform echocardiography studies.

Requirements include accreditation in cardiac technology and cardiac ultrasound, plus the ability to provide preliminary interpretations and participate in training of residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision, perform 2D echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies.
• Provide preliminary interpretations of studies.
• Prepare and maintain patient echo study records.
• Assist physicians with training of residents, fellows and other staff.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Follow physicians orders, policies and procedures.

Duties Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the supervising physicians in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab, prepares patient for examination, performs all 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records patient to echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with the training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Ability to read, interprets, apply, and or follow physicians orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.
