Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform adult echocardiograms using contrast agents and post-operative evaluations.
• Assist in stress echo procedures and TEE setup and imaging.
• Conduct assessments of cardiac functions including diastology assessments and strain calculations.

Are you an experienced Echo Tech passionate about cardiac imaging? We have an exciting 13-week travel opportunity in Oro Valley and Tucson, Arizona. Join a dynamic team and make a real impact in patient care — all while experiencing one of the most scenic areas in the country.

Requirements:

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS) certification

BLS Certification

Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac sonography experience

Must Have Experience In:

Adult 2D Echo, including:

Use of contrast agents

Post-cardiac catheterization evaluation

Post-surgical echocardiography

Assessment of pericardial effusion

Imaging for pericardiocentesis procedures

Left and right ventricular strain calculation

Diastology assessments using TDI

PISA calculations

Biplane EF measurements

Stress Testing Procedures:

Treadmill stress echo (setup, resting & stress imaging)

Dobutamine stress echo (setup, resting & stress imaging)

Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE):

Setup, image acquisition, and physician assistance
