Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Sonographer to join a Level 2 trauma acute care facility. ARDMS/RCS certification and BLS are required, with 2+ years of adult echo experience and ND state licensure if applicable. EPIC EMR experience is essential, and onboarding new permanent staff will be supported.

The role includes performing inpatient and outpatient adult echo studies using Definity and Agitated Saline protocols, with TEE and stress echo as time allows, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or RCS certification required (CCI or ARDMS accepted).
• BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of echocardiography experience; 4-5 years preferred.
• ND state license required if applicable.
• Adult echo experience required; pediatric experience a plus.
• EPIC EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient adult echo studies, using Definity and Agitated Saline protocols.
• TEE, Exercise Stress, and Dobutamine Stress Echo performed as time permits.
• Operate in a high-volume Echocardiography department with 6 machines across 3 rooms.
• Work day shifts with possible evenings and on-call coverage when not staffed.
• Rotating weekends and holidays; no floating to other departments.
