Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Echo) for a 13-week assignment in Morristown, NJ. You will perform echocardiography, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety as part of a dedicated clinical team.

The role requires an accredited ultrasound program, 1 year Echo CV technologist experience, and active BLS. Travel assignment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• One year of recent experience as an Echo Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac echocardiography, including Doppler and 3-D imaging.
• Operate echocardiography equipment and apply advanced cardiac imaging techniques.
• Review patient history and verify orders to ensure appropriate examinations.
• Educate patients and/or family members about echocardiography procedures.
• Identify, correct, and document imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced environments with professionalism.
• Follow directions from supervisors and comply with facility policies and standards.
• Perform other duties within scope of Cardiac Sonographer.
