Job summary

DSV is hiring Driver Helpers to travel nationwide, delivering and installing data racks, servers, and other high‑value equipment at data centers and customer locations. This role involves hands-on, white-glove service with loading, unloading, and precise placement of equipment.

Travel assignments are 1–2 weeks and may extend up to 2–3 weeks. DSV provides transportation and lodging; $2,000 sign-on/retention bonus is available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in delivery, warehouse ops, or similar physically demanding environment preferred.
• Experience with white-glove delivery, data center logistics, or handling high‑value equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely handle large, heavy, fragile equipment.
• Follow SOPs, installation instructions, and site requirements.
• Familiarity with POD systems or digital freight-tracking tools preferred.
• Willingness to travel; able to meet travel scheduling needs.
• IT equipment installation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe, timely delivery of high-value equipment to multiple sites.
• Load, unload, move, stage, secure, position, and install equipment using proper handling techniques.
• Secure cargo to prevent movement or damage in transit.
• Operate pallet jacks, dollies, lift gates, ramps and related equipment.
• Position equipment per installation procedures and on-site directions.
• Follow safety, security, and access procedures; maintain SOPs and chain-of-custody.
• Complete POD documentation and verify shipment accuracy.
• Perform installations in confined spaces and varied positions; wear required PPE.
• Communicate with drivers, team, customers; escalate hazards or discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain regular nationwide travel, including overnight stays; accept travel assignments with short notice.
• Work flexible schedules including extended hours, weekends, and overtime.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
