Job summary

Turner Construction Co. is seeking a seasoned transportation and logistics leader to oversee offsite sourcing transportation operations on multiple projects, including domestic and international shipments. You will lead supplier management initiatives and ensure high-quality performance and value delivery.

This role requires strong KPI leadership, collaboration with internal teams, and hands-on supervision of a team, with a focus on cost control, risk mitigation, and timely project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a supply chain or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a direct supply chain function within construction or related industry.
• Knowledge of domestic and international manufacturers, suppliers and trends.
• Experience with 3PL, transportation carrier networks and services.
• Strong planning, organizational and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with transportation providers for xPL Offsite Transportation operations.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to meet project objectives and manage expectations.
• Manage domestic and international transportation partners and 3PL providers.
• Maintain relationships with providers to monitor performance, budget, and standards.
• Create, maintain, and review KPIs to identify cost and service improvements.
• Provide real-time reports on performance, status, and risks for projects.
• Supervise team, participate in hiring, and deliver performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and partner workflows throughout projects.
• Monitor profitability and track financial performance of transportation services.
• Keep abreast of transportation technologies and industry trends; share best practices.
