Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license required.
• BSN required upon hire from an accredited program.
• Minimum 3 years of experience; 2–4 years in supervision in LTC nursing.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire; other certs may be needed.
• Knowledge of LTC/state/federal regulations and reimbursement systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift supervision to nursing staff including hiring, training, evaluation, assignment, and delegation.
• Coordinate nursing care activities to ensure continuity across the continuum.
• Develop and implement policies to meet Federal and State regulatory requirements.
• Provide continuing education to ensure staff competency.
• Oversee case management: assessment, coordination, planning, monitoring, evaluation.
• Organize interdisciplinary resident care programs including care planning and restorative care.
