Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Dietitian for travel assignments in Baltimore, MD. The role coordinates nutrition care, conducts assessments, plans care, monitors progress, and provides education to patients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate holds an RD licensure, a bachelor’s in nutrition, and has hospital/clinic experience. Travel flexibility and adherence to standards are required.

Qualifications

Location: Baltimore, MD

The Dietitian coordinates all phases of nutrition careincluding nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education andcounseling of patients and outpatients in a variety of settings. The Dietitian contributes to the health andwellness through nutrition to individuals, families and communities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Baccalaureate degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics,Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition, or comparable major preferred and or perstate requirements

• Registered dietitian (RD) licensure or certificaterequired

• Two years’ experience in a hospital or clinic settingpreferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
