Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse - Dialysis for a 13-week travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. Start 09/28/2026; shifts are 4x10 hours, typically 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

The dialysis unit provides hemodialysis across care levels, including ICU, in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Travel nurses receive weekly pay and comprehensive support throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California.
• At least two years of recent nursing experience in the field.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience with unit-based hemodialysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for dialysis patients following established standards and the nursing process.
• Monitor and respond to patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment data collection and care planning.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement care plans, including interventions to attain outcomes and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families; support treatment team with health information and teaching.
