Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant in Waterloo, IA. This part-time role requires travel to nearby offices to support patient care and assist during various procedures.

You will take dental X-rays, set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment, and manage infection control while educating patients on oral hygiene. You will collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care and maintain a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care
• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental X-rays
