Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience in acute care.
• Minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation.
• Knowledge specific to cardiac surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments per protocols.
• Functions in scrubbing and circulating roles.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments for surgeries.
• Obtains specimens and verifies location.
• Participates in department on-call schedule.
