Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Olympia, Washington. The role requires CVOR experience and involves 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, and travel staffing arrangements.

The position includes benefits and the opportunity to work with a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency providing nationwide assignments. Start date is 11/30/2026.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of eighteen months CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation for open-heart patient care.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation related to cardiac procedures.
• CABG and cardiac procedures experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs for CVOR, serves as 2nd circulator, and Heart Holder as needed.
• Picks supplies for surgeries and sets up instruments; performs instrument and sponge counts.
• Obtains specimens and hands them to circulating nurse; verifies location.
• Facilitates room turnover time.
• Participates in department on-call schedule.
