Job summary

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. The role focuses on circulating in the Cardiovascular Operating Room and requires working with CABG, TAVR and valve procedures.

The successful candidate will hold an associate degree or surgical technology certification, BLS, and ideally CST certification, with 2 years CVOR experience and ability to float to related cases. Shift options include 8- and 10-hour shifts with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a Healthcare-related field or surgical technology certification is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program (required).
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
• 2 years CVOR experience for both RN and CST with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• This role involves circulating only, with no scrubbing duties.
• Focus on cardiothoracic surgeries including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements and robotic thoracic cases.
• May float to Main Operating Room as needed.
