Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 10-week assignment in Salem, Virginia. The position requires an active VA tech license, at least one year of CVOR experience, and ACLS/BLS with NBSTSA certification. Scrub duties and cardiovascular procedure support are expected in a 2-OR environment.

Typical cases include CABG, thoracotomy, endo AAA, valve replacement, and pacemaker procedures. Youll work on days, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a 1:1 patient ratio and Meditech EMR usage.

Qualifications

• Active VA Tech license is required.
• 1 year of CVOR experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS required; NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted).

Responsibilities

• Perform typical CVOR procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, and pacemaker support.
• Scrub for cardiac cases and ensure sterile technique and patient safety.
• Operate within a 2 OR suite setting with 6 staff on day shift.
