MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a travel assignment in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role offers 40 hours per week, days shift, for a 13-week contract beginning 10/12/2026, with travel compensation and full benefits.

The ideal candidate will have CVOR experience or recent surgical tech credentials, CPR certification, and knowledge of CVOR instrumentation, including CABG procedures. Travel staffing positions with housing options and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience as a surgical technician.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of eighteen months CVOR recent experience or CVOR clinical orientation.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation for cardiac procedures, including CABG.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrub, assist as 2nd circulator, and Heart Holder roles in CVOR.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, and performs counts accurately.
• Obtains specimens and handovers to circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover and participates in on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Must have a minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed.
• CABG and cardiac procedures.
